How we can help the homeless in Rochester

Sermon after sermon, conversation after conversation, I constantly hear passing, but passionate, discussions about the prevalence of homelessness in the leading nation in the global economy.

My socially active friends from Students for a Democratic Society and compassionate brothers and sisters at churches are constantly expressing their discontent with the fact that fellow Americans are denied a right that we often take for granted. As my SDS friend always say, housing, a roof over our heads and place to find food, isn’t a privilege; it’s a right.
